Next, we’ll ask you to take a picture of your photo ID and answer some knowledge-based questions to confirm your identity.
After authentication, you'll be connected with a notary through a two-way video call. Follow the notary’s instructions to complete your notarization correctly.
When the notary is finished, you’ll be redirected to a payment page. Add your payment information to receive access to your completed notarized documents.

Yes, you'll need a camera and microphone on your device to electronically notarize. We recommend using your computer, but you can use your phone if you don’t have access to a computer with a webcam.
After you’ve uploaded your document, you’ll be asked to add the names of all the signers who will join the video session.
For any additional signers you add, you can select whether they will be sharing a device with you or if they will be using a separate device. If using a separate device, the additional signers will receive an email with an invitation link to join the session. Make sure they’re ready to notarize at the same time as you.

We do allow for signers located outside of the United States as long as they are US citizens or have SSNs. The document also needs to be a US-related document that will be filed in the US.
Currently, we are unable to notarize for signers who are not US citizens or do not have SSNs.
Yes! Make sure you have your document saved as a PDF file on your phone. After that, you can use your phone browser (Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) to navigate to our website and upload your document.
When the session finishes, you'll be taken to a payment page. Enter your payment information, and your notarized documents will be ready to download on the next page.
